I started contributing to The Guardian as a graduate student at Columbia Journalism School. The US news desk picked up my series on female veterans in the US and ran all three of the stories.

Since then, I've been a regular freelance journalist for the News and Politics desks, covering everything from misinformation to book banning to new legislation passing through Congress.

I've had several cover stories and landed a range of exclusive interviews with Congressman Maxwell Frost, Khaled Hosseini, R Derek Black, and others.
